MEMBERSHIPS

ARCA’s memberships of boards, committees and associations serve to increase and share our knowledge. In addition, industry-specific problems are discussed and dealt with within the framework of research projects, and interests are represented. For ARCA, always in the spirit of our “control the flow” principle.

• Membership and participation in VDMA joint research, with topics such as:

– Research project: flow-induced vibrations of flow-through valves

– Research project: surface optimisation of valves

– Research project: seawater-resistant valve materials

– AK electronic nameplate for industrial valves

– Lifecycle costs for valves

• Member of the Förderverein des Fachbereich für Maschinenbau und Verfahrenstechnik der Hochschule Niederrhein (Development Association of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Process Technology at the Lower Rhine University of Applied Sciences)

• Membership and participation in DIN NA 003 DIN Standards Committee for Valves

• Long-standing membership of the Technical Committee IEC/TC 65 in working groups WG 9 (Final control element: Process control valves) and WG 6 (Testing and evaluation performance)
