Apprentice Speed Dating of the Krefeld CCI on February 7-23, 2022
The website and app “It’s your match” of the Krefeld Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) offer the opportunity to establish an initial contact with employers who are offering vacant apprenticeship places for apprenticeships in 2022. It is possible to arrange telephone, chat or video appointments with companies offering apprenticeships. In 15-minute interviews, you have the opportunity to introduce yourself to the company and to get an initial impression of the company yourself including asking all your questions. This offers both sides a good opportunity to get to know each other and exchange ideas for the first time.
We are looking forward to meeting you virtually!
Further information on apprenticeships, procedures and participating companies can be found here.

“Check-In-Day” Viersen on May 17, 2022
Not on site, but nonetheless right in the middle? With us you can experience mechanical engineering live and in action – also virtually! We are looking forward to getting to know you and are glad to answer all your questions regarding the company or our apprenticeships.
“CHECK IN – BERUFSWELT” (“CHECK IN – JOB WORLD”) is a local campaign run by the district of Viersen, in which ARCA participated already several times. In the context of this joint campaign by schools and industry, the participating companies open their doors to students from school years 8 to 13 in one afternoon. The idea is to give young people the opportunity to inform themselves “live” and on site about the training opportunities and everyday work in the companies.
In 2022 the event will take place – like last year – only virtually. Nonetheless no questions will remain unasked and unanswered! We are looking forward to many interested young people!
Don’t miss this opportunity and make an appointment for an interview still today!

Internet simulation game ” Market & Competition”
In the Internet simulation game “Market & Competition” 2018, our apprentices Alexander Alexeyenko, Nils Verworrn, Marvin Engelhardt, Eliano Niski, Albert Demiri and Jan Harms managed a company that manufactures and sells Wi-Fi soundbars.
Participating in the simulation game is intended to promote group thinking and an understanding of company processes. The aim of the business simulation game is to develop knowledge and skills in economic contexts through action-oriented learning.
In six rounds of play over a period of three months, it was decided how work is done in the specified areas of the company (investment and material procurement, recruitment and qualification of personnel, scope of production, sales planning of finished products, financing). The teams developed suitable measures to be more successful in the market than the competitors, whereby they had to react to the price and advertising strategy of the competitors and to economic changes in the fictitious market. In the event of excessive indebtedness, there was a risk of being eliminated from the competition.
ARCA achieved 2nd place and thus just missed out on the state final.
A great result! Hearty thanks also go to the supervisors Jennifer Knoor, Maike Heymanns and Marcel Dyszkant!
ARCA is the future
“I love my work because I can work independently and one my own responsibility and the work is very varied.”
“Jugend forscht” (Youth researches) initiative
Young inventors
We attach great importance to our apprentices getting involved during their training and thinking outside the box. The “Jugend forscht” competition offers a good opportunity for this.
In 2014, despite their university entrance exam stress and intermediate examination, three young people from Tönisvorst developed a “door force model” for generating electricity. One of them was the then 21-year-old Fabian Davids, an apprentice at Arca. The three took part in “Jugend forscht” and presented their competition work in Krefeld.
We are happy to support our apprentices in finding and working on an interesting topic.
